Jibhi

Popularly identified as a mesmerising “hamlet”, this is located amidst the lush green forests and surrounded by kaleidoscopic mountains. Jibhi is the right place to relax and spend some peaceful time with your beloved.

The hill station was named after Lord Dalhousie and was one of the favourite summer destinations of the Britishers during the colonial period.

Tirthan Valley

 

The Tirthan Valley is located in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. It is perched at an elevation of 1600 metres above sea level.  The Tirthan Valley got its name from the Tirthan River flowing through it. The valley is located at a distance of 3 km from the entrance of Great Himalayan National Park. This place is filled with adventurous activities and is treated as a paradise for nature enthusiasts.

 

The grand Himalayas with snow-covered tops looking over the Tirthan River looks magnificent.

This valley is known for its trout fishing, adventurous trekking,  adventure activities and comfy guest houses set in the lap of nature With great visuals.

 

Sethan Valley

 

Sethan is a pleasantly old- fashioned village in Himachal Pradesh, approximately 12 km from Manali. This Buddhist village is a small village that oversees the Dhauladhar range. Completely Covered in snow during winters, Sethan Valley is a perfect place to try out skiing and snowboarding.

As the temperature is most probably below 0 degrees here, there’s heavy snowfall. Snowboarding and Skiing is one of the famous activities that takes place in Sethan valley.

Another adventurous activity in Sethan Valley is bouldering. The rocks are a combination of granite and gneiss and there are different grades of climbing to choose from. There is no prerequisite. However, one must have enough stamina to undertake this.

 

Kufri

 

Kurfi is a famous village located at a distance of 16 km away from the main city. It is a popular tourist destination well- known for its snow-laden peaks, skiing and the Kufri Zoo. The most attractive tourist spot of Kufri is on Mahasu peak. It lies  at a height of 2,720 metres above sea level and the travellers have to either hike or opt for  a pony from the parking lot to reach Kufri.

Both Mahasu Peak and the Fagu Valley are the main attractions in Kufri but are only reachable through pony rides.

Once you reach the peak after a pony ride, you’ll get to enjoy your time playing with snow or capturing beautiful pics. There are a few photographic spots and the views make up for the hike.

You also enjoy go-karting at the Kufri Fun World, the one that has the highest Go-Karting track in the world.

Kufri’s tourism along with Chail is  generally included by most of the tourists visiting Shimla and is covered in most of the tour packages.

Few Other destinations close to Kufri and Shimla are Narkanda, Mashobra, Tattapani & Naldehra where you can explore your trek even further.
